Annual Hearts for Housing Dinner Gala

dinner gala

Tickets are on sale now for our 18th Annual Hearts for Housing Dinner Gala! This is DeLaCerda House’s longest running fundraiser. We’re a small community organization with a big mission, ensuring that some of our community’s most vulnerable members have housing and access to the medical care they need in order to be healthy, thriving, contributing members of our community.

HIV prevention concerns all of us. And, the quickest way to #GetToZero new infections is to start by ensuring that those who are infected have access to medical care. Research tells us that one of the greatest barriers to medical care is a lack of housing. When you do not have a place to live…little else matters.

As the Quad Cities exclusive housing provider for individuals diagnosed with HIV/AID and experiencing homelessness we need your help to preserve these essential services.

Join us on Saturday, October 8th at Lavender Crest Winery for our Hearts for Housing Dinner Gala where 100% of the funds raised will support DeLaCerda House.

The evening will feature:

  • A Social Hour in the Tasting Room
  • Dinner & Dessert
  • Entertainment by Windy City Dueling Pianos
  • Guest Speakers
  • Silent Auction
  • And More!

Purchase your individual tickets or table today, and join us in October!

Hearts for Housing History

For over 15 years, the Hearts for Housing committee has been an incredible source of support for DeLaCerda House, helping to lead the organization's fundraising efforts. This year marks this event's 18th year, and we are proud to be able to honor our Hearts for Housing committee members through our annual Gala Dinner event, named for the committee that has tirelessly worked, donated incalculable hours, and offered immeasurable support to help safeguard the work of DeLaCerda House.

Drag Queen Bingo

Our First Annual Drag Queen Bingo event in February of 2022 and we packed the Redstone Room at River Music Experience, drawing over 200 attendees who—together—raised over $11,000 to help ensure that individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS have access to safe housing and supportive services.

We can hardly wait for our next Drag Queen Bingo event. We’re already deep in planning mode, hard at work creating a bigger and even more spectacular show, featuring some of our area’s most FAB-U-LOUS queens.
